Christina & Ben
Christina and Ben celebrated their July 1, 2011 union with a simple and elegant affair at Fauquier Springs Country Club in Warrenton.
The couple's closest friends and family members enjoyed the warm weather ceremony at Fauquier Springs' lovely and picturesque gazebo, and transitioned to the venue's Main Ballroom for the celebratory reception. Guests and bridal party members raved about the exquisite beauty of the ballroom and noted its ability to magically transform to the bride's wedding vision! The fanciful pink and black decor was largely designed and created by Christina, clearly a crafty and clever bride. From the adorable pink and black place cards to the lovely handmade invitations to the floral centerpieces (bright pink roses in mason jars covered in embossed paper,) this bride did a fantastic job in creating her wedding atmosphere. The unique black and white bridesmaid dresses from White House Black Market (worn with pink shoes) were also a perfect touch.
The evening reception was kicked off with a delicious selection of stationed hors d’oeuvres, including cheese, fruit, and cocktail meatballs. An impressive buffet dinner was served by Legends Catering, featuring items to please every palate. The menu included house salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, red onion served with watercress dressing, wsliced London broil in au jus, garlic basil whipped potatoes, and steamed asparagus in light hollandaise sauce Both bride and groom commented that they received endless compliments on the edible delights created by Legends Catering. Guests followed dinner with perfectly pink wedding cake by Knakels Bakery based out of Culpeper .
After dinner, guests mingled and enjoyed music and dancing. We wish you a lifetime of happiness and love, Christina and Ben!
